BIO

Those who have experienced Rhythm & Rain’s music agree that their passionate acoustic performance takes you on a journey to everywhere you’ve been and hope to go. Led by singer/guitarist Rain Jaudon, this award-winning trio captures audiences with high-energy live shows that serve to showcase their natural talents as powerful vocalists and entertainers.
Rhythm & Rain took home Best Local Musician/Band and Best Entertainment – Nightlife honors in the 2019 Sun Herald People’s Choice Awards (Biloxi, MS) after receiving 3rd place in the Best Local Musician/Band category in 2018 and is a three-time winner of Favorite Coast Style Band in the Coast Nightlife Observer (Mississippi Gulf Coast).
They shared the stage with artists such as the late Eddie Rabbitt, Dash Rip Rock, Edwin McCain, Todd Snider, Drivin’ & Cryin’ and Cowboy Mouth, just to name a few, and have entertained hundreds of thousands across the southeastern United States with an Island/Trop Rock/Comedy style show flavored with some Mississippi Delta heritage.

RAIN JAUDON
Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Born and raised in Indianola in the Mississippi Delta, Rain Jaudon has been a staple on the Gulf Coast music scene for over 20 years. Only a couple of years after calling the Mississippi Gulf Coast home, he received the Outstanding Coastal Musician award, which recognized him as an active and promising regional performer by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Musicians Association. And active he was, playing nearly 300 live shows in the U.S. every year for well over a decade.
He picked up a guitar in the holiday season of 1985 with just a chord sheet and a Beatles songbook provided by his dad and hasn’t looked back since. A natural storyteller, Rain’s vocal stylings reflect the musical influences that set him on this career path, such as The Beatles, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, just to name a few. His affable personality and passion for his music shines through in every performance and creates a trip down memory lane for his audiences, while leaving them with new memories before they walk out the venue doors.
Rain may have cut back on the quantity of performances in recent years, but not the quality. His fun, high-energy shows have landed Rhythm & Rain as a house band at the legendary Tropical Isle Bourbon in New Orleans every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 5-9 PM and continues to be a mainstay at area festivals and events.
